SmCo Countersunk Ring Magnets

Reference sizes include 16 mm outer diameter × 5 mm thickness and 18 mm outer diameter × 5, 7 or 10 mm thickness. Confirm the inner diameter, countersink geometry, screw size and seating dimensions on the drawing. An M3, M4 or M5 screw designation alone does not define the countersink.

For a quotation, specify the required SmCo grade, magnetization direction, dimensional tolerances and surface finish. If Sm2Co17 grade YXG24H, through-thickness magnetization or ±0.1 mm tolerance is required, include that in the inquiry for confirmation.

Operating temperature depends on the selected grade, part geometry and magnetic circuit. Provide the working temperature, thermal cycling and required magnetic performance so the material choice can be reviewed.

Sintered SmCo is brittle. Consider handling and mechanical loading in the assembly design.
