Ordering stock magnets is easy. You place an order online and we quickly ship your magnets out from our huge inventory. Custom magnets have a more involved process. To illustrate how our process works, check out the timeline shown below:

If you want a shape that is difficult to describe, please include a drawing or even a rough sketch of what you are looking for.
MagnetsTek will review your request within 1-2 business days. If there are any questions or problems, we will let you know via email.
If we have a stock magnet that matches or is similar to your request, we’ll try to mention it. Stock magnets are available much more quickly, and usually at a lower cost than custom magnet orders.
MagnetsTek will email a custom quote for each magnet shape/size/grade you are interested in. Each custom magnet is identified with a unique part/quote number.
We do require a minimum order amount for custom magnet orders, usually $200 worth of magnets. This limit applies to each unique magnet shape/size/grade ordered. Delivery requires up to 7-9 weeks after receipt of your order.
Sorry, we do not have a way of substantially reducing the lead time for custom magnets. We aren’t able to offer quicker service, even with an expediting fee.

If you decide not to proceed with a custom magnet order, no further action is required.
If you do want them, place an order for custom magnets per your quote. You can:
ORDER ONLINE: You can now place custom magnet orders online, by clicking on the link provided with the quote you receive via email.
Once we receive your order, you will be charged for the magnets and shipment. If you place your order online, this happens immediately. With a phone-in order, this may take 1-2 business days to process.
At this point, the process of making your magnets begins. All custom magnet sales are final. We are not able to cancel or modify a custom magnet order after this process has begun.
When your magnets are completed, we will ship them to you using the shipping address provided.
Custom orders are not eligible for return unless the products do not meet the original specifications.
